I’ve been working / attending the “BET Awards” for so many years now, starting back when I was a young producer honing my skills, to when I was one of the faces of BET News, to now where I get to just attend the show and enjoy!  I have so many incredible memories from this annual event and this June I added another one to the mix.  The photo right here pretty much sums it up with no words (well not many anyway) needed.

I had a front row seat to all the action, from Beyonce’s stunning opening performance to the variety of incredible Prince tributes.  What made it even better was I got to sit alongside two lovely ladies, Bey’s mum, Miss Tina Knowles and Prince’s and Beyonce’s mega-publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure.  Doesn’t get much better than that now does it?
